Washingtonian Magazine and DC Modern Luxury recently highlighted the success of a fundraiser for Hilarity For Charity hosted by the Zuccari family. A who’s who of senior care industry leaders gathered for an event benefiting the nonprofit organization founded by comedian, actor and producer Seth Rogen and his wife Lauren Miller Rogen more than a decade ago. HFC provides grants to families and caregivers of individuals impacted by Alzheimer’s and promotes brain health education. Jason Zuccari, managing director of Hamilton Insurance Agency and a member of the organization’s board, spearheaded the bi-annual reception, raising more than $400,000 for the cause. Zuccari’s parents, Alan and Lisa Zuccari, generously opened their McLean home for the event, which featured silent and live auctions, a cocktail reception, and a panel discussion on brain health with the Rogens, neurologist Dr. Richard Isaacson and Peloton instructor/ motivational speaker Kirsten Ferguson. The conversation was moderated by MSNBC’s Katie Phang.
